Title courtesy of my husband. The squirrel is sitting on a post. We saw her posed there as we went to the duck pond to feed the ducks and take photos. I liked how the evening sunlight was shining on her.

Nice job, Linda. Nice clear focus on the eyes, great light from the sun and the squirrel's image is isolated nicely against the background with the short depth of field.
You are right; the lighting makes her coat come out very well. Her pose is both relaxed and tense at the same time. She'd probably take off like a shadow at the hint of threat. Fav.
