Taken on May 18, posting on the 17th as I missed uploading on that day.
Some children at the pond aggravated this egret until he flew up to the top of a tree. I took several shots and liked the warm glow of the evening sun on him and the pose on this one. I like the pattern of his wings as they delicately flow from his body and the shape of his neck.
@edorreandresen Thank you and thank you for the FAV. This fellow is quite tame and enjoys catching fish with people at the pond. I call him "Buddy" and I think he remembered me fromn last year.
