The Paint Mares and foals stand together. The mule stands in front of the Sorrel Mare (I think it is a Sorrel). The mule often takes a protective stance between the mares and whoever is looking at them.

So nice to see them together :) They have a beautiful place to stay with many trees and bushes around (which hopefully give some shade on warm sunny days). Interesting that the mule acts as guardian. F
