Sunflower SOOC by grannysue

Sunflower SOOC

Straight out of the camera except for the watermark. No cropping, nothing. This is one of the Sunflowers grown from seeds the birds tossed out of their feeders. Best viewed on black if you have the time.
Thank you for viewing and commenting, it is appreciated.
They're always pretty and never fail to produce a smile when you look at them. Thanks to the birds! Nice shot.

The leaves look like propelling the flower forward. Somehow, it looks like a swimmer. At least to me.

Indeed very beautiful on black! I guess "my" birds (and mice) were too hungry and ate all the seeds – no sunflowers in our garden...

@lastrami_ Thank you! I was surprised the squirrels missed it, but they probably found it easier to get them out of the feeders. Every year I find a sunflower or two popping up. Managed to save some from my husbands mower this year.

@ninaganci Thank you! It is very hot and sunny here in Texas. I have to water at least every day. Luckily most of my flowers are where they get shade for a good portion of the day.
