I’m a retired elementary and art teacher from Oklahoma. After retirement I also worked for the USPS as a relief postmaster. In 2011 we bought an RV and decided to try the life of full-time snowbirds.

As a former parrot breeder and avid birder my favorite subjects are those with feathers. I'm a hummer fanatic! Furry critters are another favorite subject as well as the great outdoors. You’ll see the occassional sunset, thunderstorm, or flower that catches my eye!

95% of my point and shoot photos are SOOC, except for cropping and straightening! I'm not a big fan of extreme editing and processing. I currently use two bridge, digital cameras, a Canon SX40HS, a Panasonic DMC-FZ47 and as of 11-23-12 my iphone cam and a couple other point and shoots, pocket sized.

1-1-12 to 1-1-13---My first year is now complete with 494 photos in three albums and even though at 95% by the stats I'm pleased I was able to have accomplished what I did! I plan to continue adding photos for 2013 as photo opps arise!

June 17, 2012---Have now traveled into Nevada and will be in California June 24. We'll camp near Yosemite for two weeks. Hopefully I'll have lots of photos to share. Beware! I just upgraded to ACE today.

July 23, 2012--I have not been able to post photos for weeks now as we have been traveling in the forests of California and I've had no internet connection. I have been taking pics all these weeks and will get a few posted daily so as not to hog the board!

September 12, 2012--We're now heading back to S.E. Texas, currently in Utah and soon to be in Las Vegas then I-40 to Gallop, NM and on to Texas.

November 24, 2012--Back in TX for the winter.
