I was out on the boat with family a couple of days ago on a local lake, and while snorkeling around the shore I discovered what I'd like to think was an old campsite about four meters underwater. There were tin cans strewn about and other unrecognizable features, all covered in decades of grime and muck. I tried to retrieve a couple of the cans but they disintegrated in my hand when I touched them. Before moving on, I noticed the shape of a bottle buried in the silt and retrieved it. There was about a centimeter of crud on the outside, and the inside was completely stuffed with green algae, bits of plant, silt and gunk. I thought it was neat though, rinsed it off as best I could, and stowed it aboard. I cleaned it up today and discovered a nice little reward underneath; an old glass bottle colored light purple from the sun. Radiation can turn some glass purple due to manganese content, but most of this glass was discontinued (in the US) during WWI, or though they say. It now shares space on a windowsill with some of my other old bottles. :)
Wonderful composition! Your bokeh streams all over the place regardless of the story! fav
