Blessings

The house which I now call my own was built by my grandfather. And by built I mean he built it with some friends of his, hammer and nail; not a straight line in the whole place but I love it. He is an accomplished artist and handyman, and this is one of the many interesting corners in the house. He carved this into a sideboard leading into the kitchen; a little daily reminder to me that I usually take to heart :)
What a great story! So important for you to to take pics of every nook of that house :-)

The measure of the lines within a house are not as important as the memories held within it. The moments and people who have passed through bring it character; in a sense making the house not just a home, but part of the family. Glad your able to hold onto it.

I can feel the love behind your shot. So cool that you live in your grandfather's house that he built himself. He lives on in every board and nail, crooked line, nook and corner.
