This is my very old Ansco Ready Set No. 1A (1925). I will be pushing a roll of re-spooled 120 through it soon on it's debut (at least for me) voyage; hence, the stage fright :)
First off... this shot did not start out this way! Like many of my camera adventures, I had something completely different in mind when I began and somehow I migrated to this point. It's all about experimentation and trying new things, right? :)
I am now selling some of my prints!

That'll teach me to look properly, I only looked at the camera because it reminded me of my friends one, so I clicked on the first link, looked at the camera, then the rest of the shot! You made me jump!! haha. Cool set up Aaron ; )
@veg66 I have a very customer-friendly camera shop here who are very hands-on. I wind 120mm film onto the 116 spools (in complete darkness), then just bring the camera in to them. They go into the darkroom, respool the 120 into a developer cylinder, and return the camera; takes only a couple of minutes :) Then, they process the 120 as normal!
Not sure what you're original idea would have been, but the end result is great. Such an original concept and fabulous execution. The lighting and faces in the background are perfect
@digitalrn Thanks Rick! @jcarrollphoto Thanks Jim! I just stumbled upon this actually! It started out as several cameras with a "Boxed-In" concept to highlight my old box cameras, then I checked out how it looked backlit, then I noticed I captured the flash itself in a couple of the backlit photos and it looked like stage lights, so I did some shots as if it were on a stage, then I noticed my arm was dimly highlighted in a couple of the shots so I experimented with that a little, then I moved to the other side of the target and flashed from above a couple of times, noticed my face in a couple of frames, and shot a couple more with that specifically in mind. Haha, pretty random :) @lesphoto Thanks Leslie!
@frida Thanks Frida, definitely do!
@swilde Thanks Sue!
@newbie Thanks Stacey! :)
