Tiny Crab Spider trying to blend in!

Best viewed LARGE!

UPDATE: Since several folks have never seen a pink crab spider, I googled it to see if it's rare or anything. Nope, tons of Pink Crab Spiders out there! Who knew? :)

Awesome! You found one that changed colour, including striped legs! I found one a while ago, but it was just white. I found out that sometimes, they change colour to blend in with their environment.

Hee hee Sondra at the top accidentally put "crap" spider...I am sure autocorrect did that. So funny. This is another great macro! What lens do you use? Do you use tubes? THis is great and a fav!

@filsie65 Thanks so much Phil! I do seem to be streaking at the moment; but we all know how that comes and goes, I could be in a slump next week! :)
@espyetta Haha, I hadn't noticed, too funny! For most of my close-up work I use a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro, I rarely use tubes (I do have a pretty nice set and should use them more often!) Thanks MaryBeth!
posted September 16th, 2012
@grizzlysghost That Canon 100 2.8 I think is the one I almost bought.
