Go With The Flow by grizzlysghost

Go With The Flow

Whenever I Fall
(and I've fallen a lot),
I usually wonder
"Is this the best that I've got?"

I complain about leaving
the places I've been,
but eventually I stand
and start walking again.

And once I am upright
and looking around,
I see new horizons
just waiting to be found.

So next time you're down
and your camera is sad,
remember this rhyme
and you won't feel so bad.

The places you've been;
they were nice, this is true.
But where you have landed
could be perfectly you!

So pick up that Nikon,
or Canon with film,
and go with the flow,
...
...
what rhymes with film?...

~ :)

I like @annbo idea, cause I even googled "rhymes with film" and nothing, so if Google also has nothing... stumped.
Thank you for sharing the poem... and this lovely photo, your work is much appreciated.

Don't know how you do it mate, fantastic images and poetry as well. perhaps you should have used 'celluloid' - could perhaps find something to rhyme with that ??

Beautiful shot. I like your poem, too, and I can't think of a word that rhymes with film. :) Sorry, I deleted my first response because I put up a winking smiley instead of a normal smiley which I didn't want to do.

I don’t think there is a challenge out there that you would find truly challenging but I notice you don’t do a lot of processing so I will go with that. I am calling it “Silk Purse from a Sow’s Ear”. I want you to take a picture or find an old one that is craptistic and turn it into a work of art using the editing software of your choice. Then create a before and after collage. Hope you enjoy.
October 22nd, 2012
lovely seasonal shot.
October 22nd, 2012
@copperheadglass Haha, thanks Meredith! A processing challenge it is then, ugh! ;-)

Poem is a tad cheesy but rhyming can make it so. I challenge you to a free verse with one of your spectacular images to go with.
October 23rd, 2012
@kalexa Haha, isn't it though?! :) Funny I was just thinking of free verse the other day; we will see :)
October 23rd, 2012
