We seem to have a lot of hydrants around here in Dallas Cowboys blue & silver. Coincidence?? :)

Surely put up be men, since only they suffer from the green and red colour blindness, this explaines the yellow and blue. Great find Aaron

@doyouseewhatisee Well there you go! "fire hydrants using public water supply systems should be painted chrome yellow, and their tops and caps should indicate the available GPM. 1500 GPM or more should be blue." So this hydrant is connected to public supply and can pump at least 1500 Gallons Per Minute! :)

@grizzlysghost Oh is it that simple, I should have thought of that in the first place. But since we have our hydrants below ground , just a metal lit in the pavement with a sign on the house referring to it, my lack of knowledge is excused:)
