Found some stars despite the clouds :)

Lake McDonald, Glacier National Park, Montana
nice. I led us wrong on the gel for the flash. We should have used and orange gel. This turned out super cool.

@digitalrogue Thanks! Your tip about adjusting white balance to tungsten was spot on though! We'll try the orange gel next time :) I will pick up a couple of those flashlights today; they cast a mean beam!

@longexposure Haha, if only you knew how basic my photoshop skills are! I used Lightroom to touch up this photo, and that's it (photoshop scares me). The beam is from a really powerful LED flashlight held in place for 30 seconds and the light in the tent is from a single flash popped once sometime during the exposure. Imagine what I could do if I knew how to photoshop! ;)

This is such a good shot.
