This is one of several notices posted by my neighbor up-the-hill. What's annoying (but not enough for me to fret too much) is that these are posted on MY trees, on MY property; they just use my access road to get to their property. I kind of think they are an eyesore, and not very welcoming; which is why I used "shaped bokeh" to add emphasis. You've all seen "heart" bokeh, or "star" bokeh... well this is "X" bokeh, same principle. ;)
@aglennc It's been there for years; they are pretty private people. It really has to be something to get me to stress over it... I'm way too laid back to worry all that much. :)
Our backyard borders on 9 acres of woods. When the neighbor on our right moved in with his dog about 8 years ago, he'd let the dog run out into the woods and apparently the folks who owned the property weren't too pleased with that. When they put the NO TRESSPASSING signs up along the edge of their property, they left our patch un-posted but his has quite a few! I guess the good thing is that they don't bother you much. It's better to have neighbors you basically get along with rather than the nightmares you can hear about.
Smart move not to worry about it. My parents had to go through a large lawsuit with their property in Idaho, because of bad neighbors. Cost them lots in legal fees and loss of property value because they couldn't sell the place while it was under litigation.
Hmmm. I guess it is a regional attitude thing. Here, if the signs were posted by OUTSIDERS on someone else's property, it would not be tolerated. If the people were natives, they might skate by.
