Thursday night is Tape Night in the Soximus household.
Socks wasn't too eager to participate in the shoot, so I left the tape on her a little longer. Didn't want her to feel left out.
This was another experiment in lighting and editing, and I'm quite happy with it! Especially after my first attempt did not work out so well.
The backdrop is lit by a speedlite with a DIY grid and a piece of blue cellophane, or DIY gel. The key light is a speedlite with my handy dandy DIY softbox, almost directly overhead.
I love DIY stuff for learning, but after using it for so long, I can't wait to get a legit softbox.
The tape is Scotch tape.
In post, I did everything I could possibly imagine to this picture, so I won't go into details.
No animals were harmed in the making of this photo! ;)
not harmed but greatly annoyed I'm guessing. nuttin' wrong with that - we live to annoy our cats. I like to put a loose hair scrunchy around Sofie's neck and watch her try to back out of it...greatly entertaining!
@msk1p2 I myself am a firm beleiver that cats require a lot of stimulation and excitement and sometimes we have to call upon ourselves to provide it! Am I right?
