10.11 pm: Loads of rain again today but with some dry spells this time.
In the photo there's the gothic Hooglandse Kerk (Highland Church) and the neighbouring pub De Uyl (The Owl). I lived around the corner from here in my student days and spent many an hour in this pub.
Beautiful gothic church.I would love to see the inside of it! I think it's good for the theme...church and bar are kind of opposite, but also the church is dark and brooding and the pub is cheery and fun.
