Fireworks 2012

Year 2, day 1!

12.08 am: I started my project last year with a fireworks shot, taken from our back garden. I had wanted to start a 365 project for ages and was very excited that I had finally done so. A year on it only seems fitting to start my new project with a fireworks photo as well.

Watching the fireworks from our back garden is quite an awesome experience. Consumer fireworks are very big in the Netherlands on New Years Eve and many people spend amazing amounts of money on them. We never shoot any ourselves so our small yard is like a pocket of darkness surrounded by an inferno of light and noise.
