11.37 pm: Being near a sleeping cat can be very soothing. This beautiful one, named Nora, belongs to @smallenburg. Both her cats slept almost the entire evening while we were catching up and drinking white wine on the sofa. I would love to have a cat myself but alas, both my husband and I are allergic to them.
Beautiful cat shot!! My husband was allergic to cats but we got a mainly white kitten (both kittens and white parts are less allergenic) and then treated her with something called 'Petal Cleanse' - a sort of detergent which cleans the dander off the fur - for about a month and he stopped being allergic!! Of course if it didn't work I was in trouble!!
