Hi, my name is Judith. I live & work in the Netherlands.
I love photography and participating in this wonderful photo project has been a joy so far!
My photos are usually taken nearby my home in Leiden and my work in The Hague. Architecture, public transport, light, trees and skies are subjects I tend to choose for my pictures quite a lot. I am also interested in street photography and night photography, and a combination of both. I have two lovely daughters (2008 and 2009) and I post shots of them too every once in a while.
I never run out of inspiration but I lead a hectic life and my biggest challenge is finding the time to take good photos. I am a happy Canon Powershot G12 user. I might one day upgrade to a DSLR but so far there are still things to discover with this wonderful bridge camera. What I also love about it is that it's relatively small meaning I can (and do!) take it everywhere I go. The first five months of my project were shot with the very similar G10.
90% of my photos have been edited with the free version of Picnik. For more complicated editing I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I have some SOOC photos in my project but not very many.
I have two albums: my regular 365 album and an album for challenges and themes. The latter has been used for three challenges so far: the May self-portrait challenge, which was a fabulous experience that taught me a lot, the July black & white challenge, and parts of the HappyAugust challenge. In June I ran a mini series of family portraits in my extra album.
