In the late early 1960's the headlights for the Chrysler Imperial cars had spot light type lights attached to the front bumpers for a unique look.
Note the orange turn signal that is nearly hidden under the front hood overhang. Guess if you could see this large car about to turn you might not need to see the front turn signal.
