We have had such a lovely day today with Brian & Lesley in the Lake District before they fly back to NZ on Saturday. The best bit was a delicious lunch at the Miller Howe Hotel owned by John Tovey. The hotel is perched high up overlooking Lake Windermere with stunning views. The food was superb & it was such a treat I've decided I like fine dining !!!

Lucky you - Miller Howe!!!! I was already sighing when I saw the Lake District part. Glad you're having a lovely visit - at least these days going to New Zealand isn't so out of reach.
What a lovely photo Pat. .....and being able to record special days is such a luxury of our time. So different from when families had to move to NZ, Canada etc last century ..........but still the other side of the world is the other side of the world!
