This is our nearest village called Great Eccleston. You don't need to go further than here for anything you want in life ! Only small but it has all the amenities & shops you could wish for ! A fantastic Patisserie, butcher, chemist & doctors, dentist, small supermarket, veg shop, ladies & gents clothes & a hardware shop that you can't ask for the wrong thing ! There is also a great sit in fish & chip restaurant, three pubs, courtyard cafe ,hairdressers, post office , a community centre where you can learn anything from computers, pilates to belly dancing ! And finally there has just opened an undertakers with room of repose !!! Free parking & a market on Wednesdays !! How about that ?? As you can imagine you can hardly park anywhere at very busy times . Not easy to get the best angle but this is the square where most of the activity is.. taken this evening when shops were shut.
