Christmas window. by happypat

Christmas window.

Longridge , a small town on the edge of the Longridge Fells. It has quite a steep main street with a variety of different shops one of which is Hush, a gift shop with lots of lovely Christmas stuff & gifts. Cathy & I were here to pick Lydia up, she is their Saturday girl & works 10am until 5pm . I chose a couple of presents & Cathy paid as she has a 20% discount !!!!
I also bought some lovely twinkly lights for my dresser which you might see at a later date !!
I don't know why but am having problems loading ..you might have to comment from thumbnail !!!
Wow, some good sales at this early stage, and it appears to draw the window shoppers too..

A treasure trove of a shop - and all the more inviting with the lights drawing you in from the darkness.

A beautiful array of Christmas gifts, btw it took a few moments for the larger picture to appear well worth waiting for Pat

Great candid, Pat. You caught them all looking the same direction at the same time. Nice light and colors!!

The shop looks so interesting in your picture, I feel as though I want to walk inside to have a look around. Your pic is a good capture, especially with the pedestrians walking past, they give it as sense of reality.

Pat, I like how the light is reflected back into the 'window shoppers'...I like the red poppies ion the window, we could do with those for our new bedroom :)

Student disount comes in handy Pat :)

@phil_howcroft Well you are right & my daughter Cathy is a mature student studying Podiatry, that is her looking in the window on the left. Lydia is also a student still at school & it is her who works in that shop !

@happypat ha ha Pat, i remember you saying your daughter was a mature student, so I sort of guessed where you got the discount :)

Looks dark is it? Reminds me of 5.00pm a few months ago here. Now with daylight savings, it is daylight till 8.00pm. What a fabulous looking shop. Seems a whole lot to do between now and Christmas day, but it will be here before we know it.

I love the night blues around the 'hush'. When people wear hair like hats and hats like hats then you know it's getting colder!

Aaarghh - It won't open for me (the second person so far) - it could be a long night! And I love Longridge - especially in the snow and winter in general... Oh - hang on - it's there - love all the people looking in!
