Cor - love your twizzling sticks! And that drop on the lemon is perfection. I love a G&T but I'm on a diet or I'll have to get a new suit before I go away (to a conference) in December.
@judithg The twizzle sticks were sent to me from NZ & are Maori symbols. I have four different ones but the one on the right represents a curled fern & of course a silver fern is the NZ emblem! I drink G&T because actually it is quite low in calories Judith !!! The trip to USA sounds very exciting we will look forward to the pictures !
@happypat Is it? How exciting! The trip to the USA (Puerto Rico in fact) involves a very scary conference - and then a nice bit and two VERY long journeys for 3 days there. But I am hoping for some nice photos!
Ah Pat, a lady after my own heart. I love a good G&T this looks so delicious...I'm in the car and coming up to join you now! A friend and I buy the "perfectly mixed" cans when we are travelling - they are exactly what they say on the tin! really great shot - perfection!
This is a wonderful shot Pat. I like the pov, that one droplet caught coming off the lemon, the colors are so balanced. A fav - and it makes me thirsty!
I had my first G & T in China last year. Two of the girls I went with, fossicked around the Chinese supermarket, until they found what they needed and then we had a couple of glasses each, back in our room. Very nice I have to say. Our glasses were nothing near as smart as yours. What a fun photo.
Pat, I don't know how this has transpired (but it appears you are not alone...i wasn't following you! not that it makes much odds I suppose as I rarely miss any of your posts! however, to be official about it I've pressed the button!
Yum! Looks so delicious. Love my Bombay Sapphire...though I'm interested that you have G&Ts in autumn/winter, I tend to move into red wine...G&Ts are definitely a drink to be had in the hot evenings of summer.
