I have had this little bird on a nest for so long I can't remember ! It has hung in both of the kitchens I have had since I got married all those years ago. I have tried all day on & off to photo this bird so that I could get it facing the right way. It has some white emulsion on it's other side left from the days when I used to do my own decorating. Because it's on a cotton thread it kept twirling round & always faced the wrong way when it stopped !!!
I think I might have got a bit of bokeh in here too...what do you think? Not the best but a start perhaps!!!
You've got those lovely fairy lights on again! And a very pretty bird - apparently even broodier than our Betty! And not a speck of dust on her even after all those years.
@phil_howcroft Oh thanks Phil, I have been trying a lot today & of course forgotten all I was taught at the photo class ...not that I learnt much any way !
That's one fat little bird and must've caught many early worms :) It's almost too big for the nest. I do like the colouring and the fact that it's been around for years.
