A filler today I'm afraid ! I have been food shopping today in Booths & for the first time I forgot to put my camera in my bag, plenty of photo opportunities too so i was cross with myself !!
This is the River Wyre at high tide as it bounds our land, sometimes it gets higher than this at certain times of the year ! In the summer though a completely different story as the river gets low enough to walk across !!
A few years ago we had problems with a cow getting stuck ( see alternative photo).
I'll be using fillers too in the next coming days, Pat. But mine aren't as great as this one. The changing tides can be beautiful as well as interesting. This is shown with such a great pov and clarity. Great photo.
Well, we will let it slip this time Pat LOL. You know, I have learned to take my camera everywhere I go, but it is a bit odd carrying a larger one, and you cannot easily grab photos in stores with the larger camera. I mayneed to invet ina smaller pocket size for those sneaky instances.
Don't you just hate leaving your camera behind! DOH! Never mind - this is a pretty fill in. It's that time of the year I'm afraid - everyone's so busy getting ready for Christmas. I'm way behind with my commenting, but hopefully will catch up over the next few days.
Beautiful filler, Pat! Things were holiday frantic at my grocery store yesterday as well...wish I'd had my camera too. But I was just happy to have remembered my list and to get out unfrazzled. :)
how annoying you forgot your camera! love this winter scene though - seems like there's a bit of flooding going on - the poor land cannot take all this excessive water - it's been too dry for too long!!
