Seagull frenzy. by happypat

Seagull frenzy.

After the maize harvesting now for the ploughing. As soon as the maize had gone he was in with the plough...just finished this field 10 minutes ago. This picture has the tractor in almost the exact same place as the maize combine photo from the other day.

The seagulls were having a great time looking for worms.

Three good things:
1. Our lovely daughter Cathys birthday today.
2. The present we bought her she liked & it fitted!
3. I found a delicious looking recipe for Semolina in the magazine supplement of the Mail.
Wow what a great after shot

One of my favourite types of shots, and I remember how excited I was when I got one like it last year. I love the frame filling field that excludes the sky. Fav.

Great capture Pat -the seagulls do not miss much do they !! and their squalling sounds is not at all desirable !! This would be a great exercise in counting !! lol !!

Wow - what a huge flock! Amazed they don't get caught in the tractor - they always seem to get so close. Happy birthday to your daughter!

Great shot. Do you plant any maize for human consumption or strictly for livestock ?

I've seen two like this recently but both times I was driving along the motorway so couldn't stop. You've had a good week for birds. The last time I had semolina was for school dinners when I was still in primary school.

That was quick! Happy birthday to your daughter! Has that semolina recipe got folded beaten egg whites in it? I haven't had that for ages- probably the dark ages!

Love this shot such a great scene with all those birds swirling around, although it must be a real nuisance for the driver?
