A cracking world it is!!!

I have not been doing much today as for some reason I have a really sore knee .....it started yesterday & during the night was so painful....a muscle thing I think or perhaps I twisted it a little yesterday.
It has given me a chance to catch up a little with a day at home instead of going out for lunch.

I played around with this picture of a solar light bulb...it looks much more interesting now!!

Three good things:
1. I am following seven of the people who have their photos on the TT...I must have superb taste & well done to all of you.
2. I am a bit of an invalid so have lit the wood burner early!
3. The lady who booked in for B&B for a week is staying for 3 months ....she is lovely too so a win all round!
Wonderful shot and hope the knee gets better. No 3 is a result for you.

Very nice shot and lots of good things - apart from having a bad knee. I get unexpected aches and pains sometimes and luckily they usually disappear quickly, so hope yours does too!

Wow fabulous Pat. I am an invalid too with plantar sodding fasciitis. Hope the rest has rejuvenated you x

Is that a crackling fire behind the ball? I hope your knee feels better soon - don't take it out in this nasty cold!

@lucypics Oh dear Lucy that is the very devil to get rid of...my daughter did her dissertation on that. All those lovely walks you take with Saski will be in jeopardy..do hope you improve soon!

This is fabulous Pat -- I love all that glitter at Christmas -- hope I can get my stuff from the attic ( I do not trust Gary-s clumsy men feet up there !!)

That's very festive. Sorry about the knee - what a nuisance. That's a bumper B&B - staying so long she could even make her own breakfast!

Beautifully shot. Sorry to hear about the knee, and sorry not to be seeing you this Saturday, thought it sounds like the last thing you need is to be marching round London! Hope it feels better soon.

Interesting photo and what great news about the BBQ! :)

Well hopefully it will clear up. You do not need any of that during the holiday season

My mouth is wide open at those facts! The played around works very well as a photograph - hope it works as well giving light! Poor knee - it will get better- my odd pains always do particularly if you book a doctors appointment, and finally, I do hope you get on with this lady who is staying THREE months!

@taz_o Just checking I had replied to all questions .....the light behind is the white wall of the house , just shows how much I played with it!! It is just a small crackled white solar globe but with the sun shining on it yesterday it did look pretty!

How lovely. I have my tree up now...having early Christmas this weekend in Auckland with Luke and Christine and my mum as they won't be home this year. They are taking in those who don't have somewhere to go for Christmas lunch ☺️

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the rich simplicity of composition. This looks like a Christmas planet suspended in space. Love it!
I already know that your knee is improving, thank goodness! I hope that you don't try to do too much too soon. The B&B guest that booked for a three month stay is a testament to your gracious hospitality and comfortable accommodations!
