I picked Jack up in Lancaster after he had been for an interview, as we drew into his drive we could see Willow waiting on the stairs for everyone to arrive home....another peep through the window from the outside!
Such gales with wind & rain today. No trains beyond Preston & the highest tide I have ever seen up the River Wyre...it was frightening really but it didn't come over the bank at our end thank goodness.
Thank you so much for getting yesterdays Going Home photo on PP...it was a surprise one that!!
Three good things:
1. No trees down yet although all our trees in pots were blown over.
2. The roof is not leaking next door!
3. I bought two sweaters today...I couldn't pick so brought them both home to decide!
This is such a warm and charming shot. I love the mix of the outside reflection with the cozy indoor scene. Your Going Home photo absolutely deserved PP recognition, Pat...that is a such a wonderful image. Batten down the hatches and be safe with the wild weather in your part of the planet. I saw reports of winds in excess of 100 mph. Wow!!
@peggysirk Thanks Peggy for your words....Jack had an interview at Vue Cinema, part time job until he goes to uni next September..... he has a job at the local pub but wants more hours. Let him know tomorrow!
A good day for cat photos :0) I remember the Ribble flooding and having to walk home down the A6 up to me knees in water. My very elderly violin teacher and his wife were evacuated and had a lovely time up at the squash club in St Leonard's old school - a bit of a social night out. Much better if the water stays in its banks though.
A lovely golden shot with a perfect pussy silhouette on the stairs. I was so pleased to see that yesterday's wonderful shot had reached PP - very well deserved. Dreadful weather today - hope you stay safe and dry in your neck of the woods.
Well you'll just have to keep them both!
Cutie kitty shot :)
Must get my rhythm on 365 back - I'm missing it a lot!
