I haven't got a clue how I got this effect on this photo but suspect that the dial on my camera moved to ART.
However it happened I loved the look of it when I uploaded & this is unbelievably SOOC.
I must just say a very big thank you to all my new followers...feeling very guilty as I have not had chance to look at your posts yet......next week.
A mixed day today...lots of good things but one not so good. I went to pick up my new glasses & as the girl was adjusting them she snapped the arm in two...I was not pleased as you can imagine as I had paid £2.50 just to park. They are going to post them to me now but will no doubt want re adjusting at some point.
Three good things:
1. My new Paperwhite Kindle has arrived today...on charge now.
2. Jack is coming tonight just to have a look & make sure I am all tuned into my library etc.
3. I still like my glasses even though they are broken & have also got a new pair of reading glasses which are loads better.
Very clever image Pat although you have been honest enough to admit to not knowing how it happened !!-- shall we call it a happy mistake -- this happens to me often in editing I have tried different thing that I have no idea what has produced the final edited shot !! This is really good and a fav
Love this image Pat, so lucky that all the ladies were all on the right. Such an artistic shot, such a lot to see, I have enjoyed looking carefully at this. Fav
I love this too - very cool. Well at least you didn't snap them in half and you'll know not to try home-made adjustments! I bought my mum and dad a Paperwhite Kindle for Christmas but they won't use it - they have given it my sister in exchange for a monthly book token. That's good because she has quite bad cataracts and says it's much easier to see (and she couldn't run to one straight up) but I wish they'd given it a try - they've down-sized considerably and it would be better than buying books. I would have had it back as well though I've been reading books on my mini iPad that Nigel gave me for Christmas - it's screen isn't as eye-friendly as a Kindle but it does the job.
I just love this one! The effect is right for this detail and colour! I wonder if it is poster @seanoneill as Sean says or watercolour or even under painting! Its a fav for me!
I have had Jack here all night giving me different ideas & looking at our telephone bill & broadband to see if we can save money. Quite intense & had no time to comment much tonight but it was so useful to have someone just keep an eye on our important stuff.
He said only people of 80 are on AOL.now that's me!!!! I am not 80 btw!! Talking about fibre optics & all that so we must modern up!!
Wonderful shot! Don't you just Love this camera? I've had mine for about six months. Adore it and just started experimenting with the Art settings. Not much luck so far though. Your shot looks like you processed it in PS Elements using filters.Fav!
What a fantastic accidental image. On the popular page and trending page too. You'll have to find out how you did it. got to be a fav for me.
congratulations. Hope the glasses get fixed real soon.
@redy4et Yes I do like my camera Elizabeth...used to have a Cannon 600D but found it so large & unweildly that I bought this one instead. I found it much handier for my lifestyle & the type of diary photos I tend to take. I am getting more used to it & they have some very nifty lens that I can't afford yet. I got a pancake lens free with mine so just have the two. Must check out your photos later. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you Julie & yes have discovered today that it was the keyline option.....as it says above I couldn't manage to save it in the keyline form I took the photo in today ..why I have no idea...perhaps you know hopefully? @teachntravel
great shot Pat, like the effect, however you got it!! I'm trying to get going on taking photos and commenting, but it's not really happening for me! Going to give myself a couple of weeks to get back into work and training and see how things pan out! Hope you had a great Xmas and New Year!
You must have had a real shock when you saw this then if it was an accident. Bad news about the specs, they must be very delicate. Fav for the fun shot
What a cool effect. I think your composition was great in the first place and this setting really enhances the shot. Lots to look at - I like it a lot. Fav
@jantan I said that Jan but she said she hadn't heated them up enough to bend them for adjustment. They cost me enough so hope they are stronger than that!!
very funky shot...
Thank you all for your lovely comments & faves....you are wonderful for taking the time out to read & comment.
