I have been at home all day, I took loads of photos but not satisfied with any so this is a spur of the moment last minute shot.
Three good things:
1. I have finished Middlesex at last.....great book which I enjoyed very much. It has taken me a long time to finish the last few chapters as I have been so busy.
2. A big clean up today....I have B&B in tomorrow night so thought I had better shape myself!
3. I talked to Max this morning, he was very chatty & had eaten loads of fruit & veggies ........mum was very pleased!
Sorry to disappoint you all but this chair is not as comfy as it looks. It is quite old, I saw it in a barn in the local upholsterers, she recovered it to my choice but when I got it home eventually I discovered the seat is horse hair which does not give at all. You plop down on it & get quite a shock as it seems very hard....ok when you are actually sitting in it though but slightly disappointing result. I didn'say anything as I should have realised & she is so lovely & was very proud of it.
I love the whole scene - out the window at the branches, the soft look of the chair covering, the photograph on the sill and the wool rug over the back of the chair! Perfect picture! In NZ we are going on about having 7 instead of 5 servings of fruit and veggies per day!
Really lovely light in this Pat. So pleased you enjoyed Middlesex. It is quite hard work - not in a bad way, just because there is a lot to take in isn't there?
