Baby sitting by happypat

Baby sitting

I had a friend staying last night from Darwen so today I took her home the roundabout route through countryside via garden centre via lunch out but unfortunately never though or had the time to get my camera out once.
So much beautiful countryside & I never caught any of it.....good job I have the little duckling family to fall back on!
They arrived at 8.30 am this morning & perhaps also this afternoon while we were out, so glad they feel confident to come to our garden.

Back on course now with 365 & will catch up on some commenting later.

Thank you all for your comments & faves over the last three or four days......so many even though I have been absent, I am grateful for your time!

Three good things:
1. Day in the company of a good friend.
2. The trees are all coming into leaf in the sunshine.
3. I just avoided crashing into another car on one of these mini roundabouts ...my fault too but all was well ...just!
Oooh !! Pat , how lovely to see such a contended little family -- lovely shot

A lovely shot. Like the way Mrs Duck is sitting there for a bit of 'time out'!! Glad all was well - horrid when one has a near miss and just knows it would have been nobody else's fault.

Fav! A beautiful capture. Mum having a break but keeping her eyes on the family.

She looks very relaxed there - hopefully safe from foxes with Tui around. I know Darwen well as I had a few relatives from there (all old and gone now sadly). Nigel visits a client up there quite often - at some point when Adam has flown the nest (or maybe in the hols) I'll go up with him and detour in your direction while he's working!

@judithg sounds an excellent idea Judith! Was talking to my sister about a visit to her & to detour to Cambridge about a mini meet up on your territory for a day.......perhaps @lucypics & others might be keen? Could you suggest a tentative month perhaps.? You could stay the night here if you need a bed...we could do Blackpool & really go up market!,

How wonderful that Mrs Duck feels that your garden is a safe place to bring her children. She seems very happy showing them off.
