My lane. The neighbours haven't been down the road sides with the mowers this year & I am loving the cow parsley all along the verges.
You can see our house at the end with the white fence. The lane curves to the right and continues on to the end where it goes into the fields beyond.
Three good things:
1. I cooked lamb tonight as we had visitors but at one awful point I thought the joint hadn't cooked... it turned out okay thank goodness.
2. The remains of a Thornton's Chocolate Easter egg.
3. I saved myself from falling off a chair shutting the velox window by a whisker but have a slightly sore knee.
Sorry I haven't had time to do any commenting tonight, I'll catch up tomorrow.
Love it. Reminds me of a comment my daughter said when she was small while driving down a very narrow country lane. "What a thin road". She was only very young and hadn't figured the difference between thin and narrow.
Hope the knee is better in the morning!
