Bachelors Walk in Dublin runs along side the River Liffey. A very busy street with all sorts to see.
We only had a couple of hours in Dublin so we walked around a little & ended up in Arlingtons which is a very atmospheric bar with live music.
A glass of wine each & some garlic bread then we strolled along to the Halfpenney Bridge & then back to the coach.
The relaxed pose of the priest outside his church just chatting was lovely to see. He was smiling & saying hello to everyone.
Three good things:
1. I loved the informality of Ireland...no one is bothered what you do...you can do exactly as you like!
2. Harry has managed perfectly while I have been away.....the house is spotless. All beds stripped & washing dried ready to iron.
3. Great A level results from our two grandchildren.
Must just thank you all for the great following while I have been away.....no feed back from me so pretty unrewarding for you all!
I'm afraid it won't be much better tonight as my internet is just terrible....I can't seem to get anything up at all......I will get Jack to check it out.
So in Dublin fair city !! Love the relaxed looking priest -- such a friendly place that this photo doesn't quite convey !! Glad you came home to find Harry well and managed the home and every thing spick and span !
