Not a very inspiring title but thought this might do for the theme this week.
New B&B's in tonight ....a concert pianist who asked for all air fresheners to be removed !!
I have just googled the concert pianist & she is pretty good I imagine...Sarah Beth Briggs is her name.
Three good things:
1. The Aga has been serviced.
2. L'Occitane Rose hand cream.
3. Our lovely bread shop & their generosity to Anne's family.
A lovely capture in b/w . I love the elongated ,letterbox image which echoes the long shape of the pier .Ha ha --I hope you do not use air fresheners to mask any unpleasant smells !! (only joking ! ) He must have a reaction to these things and doesn't want a bout of sneezing in the middle of his performance !!
@beryl ha ha Beryl......I am always a little dubious about air fresheners myself & in fact have none in the bedrooms although do use a very simple Lily of the valley one in the bathrooms. Have removed it out of her bathroom....& yes she is a woman. Last time she gave me a CD.
I can't have air freshners or even any washing powder that has a fragrance it triggers headaches and contributes to my CFS.... I'm no concert pianist though. Love the image. Great in b and w.
these famous people seem to develop very fussy habits. When Kiri Te Kanawa was down in Dunedin she wouldn't stay at the flash hotel she was booked into by the sea because the sea air might affect her throat! The pier's legs are a bit like a centipede here! Quite enchanting!
Wow! I can't believe that you've got a concert pianist staying! I've just seen that she got to the final of the BBC Musician of the Year at a really young age so she must be really good! :)
Love this. Great composition and the B&W was a great choice. Most air fresheners make me sneeze but I'm OK with oil burners and whatever you call those sticks in bottle things!! Fav
