I have been on my Wanderers walk today....five miles over hill & dale!
A lovely warm day with some sun & fantastic views.
Actually looking at this photo it's nearly all grass & hedge...no time to do another ! Arnside Knott is on the left & across the estuary is Grange over Sands where my brother lives.
Out tonight for a meal so will catch up tomorrow.
Sad news when I got back.....our lovely neighbour Anne died today.
Three good things:
1. Good company, good exercise & wonderful countryside.
2. Lots of photos taken for my project when I have nothing better!
3. My lost passport has been to Greece & back in the suitcase I lent Cathy & Garth.
A beautiful scenic view with the autumn colours and textures in the foreground and stretching out to the calm and smoother waters in the distance .So sorry to hear of the sad news you received on return from your walk . -- my sympathy comes your way ! Pleased that the passport was found after the little adventure if it's own !
You have family dotted around quite closely it seems! How nice. Sad about your neighbour - you would have known her well. That sort of cancer is really deadly and without symptoms till its too late! Nice wild country it looks, here!
