We didn't do any sight seeing while we were in London but just called for a bowl of chips & two glasses of wine before the show. Lovely view looking down the Thames towards St. Paul's Cathedral.
Three good things:
1. A lovely phone call this afternoon from Jack....he is so good to keep in touch with his old gran!
2. A hair cut....I was beginning to look a bit mop headed!
3. The Apprentice on tonight.
Excellent shot Pat, so much to see. I wonder what the people were doing under boardwalk? I'm hoping to visit London in two weeks (if I can persaude the other half!) Fingers crossed
Wonderful view and capture of the essence of London. Great pov and composition. The sky has great clouds and different colours and complements the buildings.
The light does look rather English and grey but you can still see the buildings so well. I like this look and applaud your being able to be here - had to stop in mid traffic etc!
@judithg that would be a turn up wouldn't it...he did get an offer from Birmingham! Sent me photos of his room & the communal kitchen tonight ....I am reall impressed. Some of the accommodation we looked at for Lydia was much worse.
@gailmmeek thank you so much Gail........for some reason the photos some friends have taken of me lately have been quite flattering...must have learnt how to stand right at last !! Enjoying life too helps ......!
Would love to go to a meet up sometime Pat, hoping to get to London on 8/9 November to see the last days of the poppies. (But not with Hubby who refuses to go!)
@countrylassie. Oh go on your own Lesley mines not going either! Mind you I think he might have gone if I hadn't been going with a friend but wouldn't bet on it!
