We went to Clifton Hospital today for Harrys result & drove along the Promenade into Blackpool. If I hadn't been driving I could have got a shot of a chap right on top of The Big One checking for safety.
Blackpool out of season is a whole different place to the holiday time......quieter & the sea front is very nice, people just walking their dogs or cycling along.
I have no idea why these two police officers where sitting there, I am sure the majority of retired folk shopping were not causing any rumpus!
Three good things:
1. Lunch out.
2. I bought a top from M&S which cost me £3.50 after all the points & vouchers came off.
3. Bingo tonight......I know you don't think I am a Bingo person!! Our annual church bingo & I am useless but it's good fun! Not quick enough by half!
Will be lapsing with the comments tonight as I am out so thank you all if you do comment but no need!
Its still interesting to see these shots of where others live, the buildings, architecture and street views. Nice pov and those yellow jackets add the colour!
@jennywren@sailingmusic@ceilidh Thank you all. If you walk right to the end of this street & turn left you come to Blackpool Tower & the entrance to the wonderful ballroom recently featured on Strictly Come Dancing & if you keep on walking right to the end you arrive at the sea.
The lights are only lights as far as I know but they could easily have cameras on them I suppose.
They are odd and lumpy lights for a lovely cobbled street! Hope Harry's results were good. I love Bingo but never play it - the sort of people who play it every week are not really my sort of people.
ahh Blackpool out of season, I had the delights of that in my youth as my grandparents retired to Blackpool. Those police horses, probably rounding up lost Bolton Wanderers fans who were in town over a week ago !
