Bonding time for father & son cycling from Lands End to John O' Groats.
Day six of thirteen & they were going well, up to Penrith tonight.
Packing up their stuff before the start & then I stood in the front porch & caught them going past the gate.
I am hoping to do some commenting tonight so will hopefully have a good look at all the photos I have missed!
Three good things:
1. Lots of visitors.
2. A new clothes shop in Garstang called Bombshell Betty Boutique....I haven't been in but it sounds interesting! Possibly a bit young for me!!
3. They are putting in fibre optic broadband down the High street in Great Eccleston.
Sounds like a great trip - my friend did it with her husband and two boys when the youngest was about 9. She got home and immediately booked a cruise for the following summer!!
Your place must be on the Cycle Trail for good beds and great breakfasts! The Cycle Trails in NZ are getting more and more popular and even the 80 year olds are doing them! Not my 80 year old though!
Cycling is so popular in the UK maggiemae......they are all over the roads.....there is a cycle trail around us but the latest lot were on specific planned routes & just coincidence that they both came this week.
Great shot and you must meet some interesting people .. Like Dianne I thought it was going to be Harry and Brian as well.. next year.. looks like your weather is getting better...
Great photo and a great place for cyclists to refresh! The cycling bug goes on and on......Jonathan still cycles lots but no long projects planned at present! 😁
Well done that father and son. Like the sunlight and shadows in your diptych. My Auntie Betty would be in that boutique like a shot I think if she lived near you, Pat!
Great father and son trip Pat. My niece and nephew have both done it and loved it. Love the way you've captured this Pat and it's so nice to see some sun lets hope it lasts!
nice use of a little montage
