Dandelion clocks

Another boring dandelion photo from the other day.. No time to take photos today so am using a filler.

A frustrating telephone conversation with online banking......I entered my details & I am positive they were correct ...after three goes they froze my account. A long detailed telephone ordeal which I had to abandon mid talk because B&B arrived,
All this because our HSBC branch has been closed.
I think I will pay a visit somewhere else!!

Three good things:
1. Harry has managed to get his wellies on.....big step forward!
2. I cooked fried eggs on Aga Bako O'Glide on the Aga plates, it worked beautifully!
3. Squeezed a glass of wine out of what I thought was an empty bottle.
They are lovely dandies... I spent ages moaning to British Gas Services and only managed to get a minor discount. Technology is all very well till it goes wrong.

Hope your travellers had a good journey home!

A great find Pat of all those dandelions -- I think I am the only one that cringes when I see masses of dandelions as they always find a way into the garden and its a Dickens of a job to uproot them successfully !
I am sure Harry is pleased to get back into his beloved Wellies !!
I agree telephone banking can be a nightmare -- I have been frozen out before now ,then all the palaver to ensure them as to who you are !! So frustrating !! No wonder you managed to squeeze a glass of wine out of the bottle !!

Threatening banks with changing accounts to another is a good ploy we have found. But we have a very nice lady who is so good at ours. Interesting name - 'Bake'o'glide or whatever it is - must find out more. i didn't squeeze any wine - it was the gin bottle I squeezed a bit out of but there was more than I thought so had to funnel it back into the bottle or I would have been on the floor!

@maggiemae Well I could have done with a drop more to be honest but thought better of having G&T too! I did threaten to change banks but it was me who put the phone diwn...the guy was very patient but how can you do banking when guests waiting for you to book them in....will have another go over the weekend.

Dandelions always look so good when they are on somebody else's property. We have a devil of a job getting rid of them in our garden. Shh! but we seem to have managed it at the moment.

A great shot Pat but very glad they are not near here. The field I took the buttercup shot in has a conservation order on it so can only be used for a late hay crop after everything has seeded. Rubbish hay by then!!. It has sheep for a few weeks in the winter but otherwise is left although they do normally spray the buttercups to prevent them from making a complete take over bid. I think they are waiting for a dry spell so the spray has time to work. Long wait in the current climate down here!!
