View from the top of Ramsgreave.

I went out for lunch with friends today to the Spread Eagle at Mellor, very nice it was too!
As you can see the view was spectacular......lots of people sat outside ...this was taken from an outside table.....we stayed inside as there was a little chilly wind & I feel the cold!

Three good things:
1. The sort of musky perfume from the cow parsley as I walked down the lane tonight.
2. Harry has mown some grass....getting back to normal slowly.
3. One of my regular B&B's from the USA in tonight.
England's green and pleasant lands Pat! I know what you mean about cow parsley in the evenings. Sounds like Harry's doing well - amazing isn't it?!

Looking out on England's green and pleasant land ... I feel as if I'm there. Good to hear H. is back on lawn duty.

@judithg Cathy asked him this morning if he would have the op again & he said a big NO....I think it might be a different story in a months time though......the first time he has had anything much wrong with him so it's all new!

@snaphappi Yes all is well with the world Maggie! Thank you.
May 23rd, 2015
@happypat Oh bless and here we are all thinking it's easy because he's doing so well! I think @snowy may have said that and them had the second one done...

@thresheg Thank you for your continued comments Graham, much appreciated!

Mowing the grass!!! Hope he isn't overdoing it. The most energetic thing on my rehab protocol wasn't until 12 weeks post op - and it said "A little light dusting". Wonderful view.
May 23rd, 2015
@judithg I'm sure he won't say that soon Judith.......he is doing really well but the pain has been quite bad!

@jocasta

A little light dusting is what I can normally manage!!! LOL

Well done, Harry!
May 23rd, 2015
@jocasta Ha ha Jocasta....that would be on my rehab list too......I would make darn sure of that!

@quietpurplehaze he he Hazel a girl after my own heart!!

@happypat

Now we have nearly all wood and tiled floors, there hardly seems to be a need for even light dusting!!!

A beautiful view

@quietpurplehaze even better!

A lovely country landscape to view over a pleasant lunch with a friend. Pleased H is doing so well -- don't let him overdo things !!
May 23rd, 2015
I googled this lovely country pub - wonderful stone building and with a view like this it would be very popular. I expect all the pain that comes from the operation is hard to forget with Harry but we seem to forget child birth pain pretty well!

@maggiemae That's what I told him maggiemae....how many women have said ' never again' & then forgotten you ever said that after a few days?

A stunning view of that gorgeous landscape!! It sounds like a wonderful place for lunch with friends.
And how about your Harry! He is making a remarkable recovery from his surgery! It's hard to keep a good man down. :)

Wonderful green and pleasant. Especially good if you can eat and see at the same time. The cow parsley is a real picture overflowing the roadside banks at the moment.
May 23rd, 2015
@peggysirk he is doing really well Peggy....a fair bit of moaning but that's to be expected from a man but on the whole all going to plan!
May 23rd, 2015
top view Pat :)

What a beautiful view. Glad to hear Harry is doing well. David makes a terrible patient and is always in much more pain than anyone else. I think it is a bloke thing. To be honest it isn't an op I would relish the thought of though.

Pat, I agree, our country sides are so much alike, and the open views like this always catch the eye
May 24th, 2015
Wow, what a view!!
May 24th, 2015
A lovely landscape scene. I agree with you about the lovely scent by the roadsides just now
May 24th, 2015

Wonderful Pat, I love the mistiness in the background.
May 25th, 2015
Ah, this is idyllic. I'd love to live somewhere like this.

@sabresun above Blackburn in Lancashire looking north towards Clitheroe Matt.
May 26th, 2015
@happypat It's so green and it looks a warm day too, and they say the photo never lies. :)
May 26th, 2015
@sabresun It was very green, we have had lots of rain plus Lancashire is cattle country, mostly dairy so not many crops mostly grass. It was warm out of the wind too. Thank you for your comments Matt.
