Friends for tea

I have spent a frustrating day trying to sort out some photos to enter into out agriculture show next month.
I pick out the ones I like but trying to get them printed the right size is a problem
The sizes stipulated on the entry form is not always the size that works best for the picture & the choices of size for printing at Asda doesn't fit the whole of the picture in either.
I will do the ones that work & try another firm for the awkward ones!

Cows & hens sharing a meal of cow nuts.

Three good things:
1. Jack reminded me how to use Light Room again.
2. Cathy gave me some of her flowers she received from her last day at work with the NHS. Going on holiday tomorrow so they would have been wasted.
3. Our new hens are laying already. Anthony & Jo bought Harry some new hens fir his birthday.
Love this - the cows look fascinated! Nice birthday present!

Love the farm life depicted here - contented cows and happy chooks all doing as they should.

Those new hens would have been somewhat hard to wrap up for a birthday present? These hens don't have to worry about the electric fence! Difficult sizing your photos to suit - what about a blank space around them to suit if you need them bigger?

A lovely shot --what's food enough the cows --is good enough for the hens !

Looks as if the cow on the right us very curious. How artistic that you chose color coordinated cows and hens!

Love your farmlife shots.

I really like this shot. I love cows just as long as they're on the other side of a fence to me .......or in a photo!

@maggiemae yes I could do that maggiemae but it's more the size I take usually 16.9 that doesn't seem to fit the 6x4 or the A4 size they want for the competition. I have ordered about ten so far so will see what they look like.

Such a wonderful gathering of friends! Love this shot!
I know how frustrating photo sizing can be...good luck.
What a perfect birthday gift for Harry from Anthony and Jo. Sounds like the new hens feel right at home.

What a lovely country scene. Have you tried re-sizing your images to exactly the size you want? That way you don't compromise any of the picture. Just right click on your photo in 'my pictures'. Press edit then resize.

A lovely rural scene (I feel as if I'm an echo, having glanced at the comments above mine!) Good luck with the resizing. It's one of my constant problems, cropping a shot to its best advantage.

A lovely image - even the animals are colour co-ordinated - mostly red, with a blue bull and a grey/blue hen!
