An alternative view of the comedy carpet looking towards the hideous wedding chapel.
This is in front of Blackpool Tower on the promenade. The jokes are very corny but I think it's a brilliant focal point even though I don't like jokes!
Cleaning & hanging curtains next door all day so just a quick upload this afternoon. We have prospective tenants coming tomorrow at six pm ....why will I be nervous!!
Out tonight so no comments I'm afraid.
Three good things:
1. Lydia is enjoying the delights of the best city in the world to live in according to the polls. Melbourne.
2. I had a spare cream lampshade in the attic.
3. WD40
What a fun idea --I had not heard of the comedy carpet !! --something to while the time away if bored and to put a smile on your face no matter how corny !! Great capture .
Good luck with your showing to the prospective tenants tomorrow evening ! And enjoy your night out tonight !
I always enjoy reading your three good things - WD40 really made me smile. I was amazed by the size ~(and idea) of the Comedy Carpet - but it's a great photo opportunity.
It must have taken heaps of money to make these tiles or flooring! Be good to bring in the tourists once they know about it! You wouldn't move fast over these messages. I think you have gone to so much trouble over renovating next door that you are nervous about their opinion? I'm sure it is such good taste that they will want to shift in straight away!
Interesting shot.
Love WD40 where would we be without it.
I heard that Melbourne made the top of the polls. I love Melbourne, lived there for 6 years. A bit cold in winter though. I much prefer Melbourne to Sydney.
