I forced myself out for a walk today although I am not at my best with a very sore throat & cough.
Called in at our nephews & he showed me his sheep. 600 of them & most inside in the dry eating hay. I wouldn't even have minded being a sheep myself in there!
Three good things:
1. Even though I don't feel better physically from the walk I feel better for going.
2. Paper tissues
3. Harry emptying the dishwasher.
I'm jealous of you being able to walk to a. relatives and b. a farm. In fact suddenly I find myself feeling deprived - when I was growing up we could and did walk round to several relatives - what have I done to our children?!! Are these going to produce lovely lambs soon?
@judithg Well the world has expanded Judith, your children could end up anywhere! No none of them are in lamb, he doesn't lamb anymore, these are fattening & will be off to market in about six weeks. Was wary of saying that in the main bit!!
Sorry I don't like lumping you all together but am shattered tonight so going to call to a day. Thank you for your lovely comments , two new names there so will look at your photos tomorrow.. Night night x
Lucky sheep - but you should be snoring by the fire with your feet up getting rid of the cold bug! Not going out into the cold and wearing yourself out! He's got plenty of winter feed there too!
Lovely shot. I think this sore throat and cough bug is going around the whole world. We picked up ours in New Zealand, hope you get over it before you venture out there and don't pick up another bug.
Mike has a sore throat and cold too .... he got some Corvonia (not sure if that is the right spelling) throat sweets .... he said that they cleared his sinus's instantly! love the sheep! :)
Hope you are cold free soon.
