A trip to the hospital for Harry for an eye check up.
We walked along the promenade for a couple of miles & as you can see it was a crisp cold sunny day.

You can see the big wheel on Central pier is minus it's seats, must be in for routine maintenance.
Lunch in M&S & a potter round the food hall.
Three good things:
1. We went round the food hall after we had eaten so weren't tempted too much!
2. Our favourite stir fry for tea.
3. Someone gave us a parking ticket with one & a half hours time left on it at the hospital.
Lovely capture and it looks beautiful, if chilly. Would love to have joined you, no not for the walk with my knees but for the meal, seen enough of the food halls today.
A bit chilly looking! We are aware of your temperatures, as our daughter is in London and has been there for about 10 months. She had an exciting Christmas in Iceland.
The sea looks nice and flat here and a very pretty colour thanks to the sky and hopefully some sun somewhere! Always good to include a lunch when you have to go somewhere for an appointment!
@pinkpaintpot@pamknowler Linda is right Pam better on a day like this or in early or late season. Avoid the school holidays although it fun people watching in high season!
@maggiemae Yes it is Maggiemae although we don't rate M&S restaurant in Blackpool,they are very slow & the loos are rubbish. Convenient though when you only ant something light.
Fabulous! We went to a Christmas market with an old fashioned wheel and the lady there told me that the seats spin over when it's windy (which it was) - as she took money to send children up! I've spent a fortune in M&S today for the diet I'm doing (and it's only me here) but hey seem to have got a had with the book (Lean in 15) because they had things like mixed blueberries and blackberries that are in the breakfast smoothie. Expensive at this time of year though and you can't dilute your meals down with pasta and bread!
@judithg £ 4.99 for a big punnet of blueberries in M&S today here. I tried some chinos &- tee shirt on today ...I looked awful, very depressing! I don't actually weigh that much, just gone out of shape! Nothing has passed my lips since our evening meal tonight! Good luck with the diet Judith.
