Light Ash Farm by happypat

Light Ash Farm

Following on from her visit to Lancaster Castle & Myerscough Agriculture College last May Her Majesty the Queen came & had lunch at this farm cafe.
Just an ordinary place opened by mother & daughter a couple of years ago & the next thing they know the Queen Is eating in their cafe.

I bet they had to pinch themselves!

I met Cathy & Lydia here this lunchtime & we had a really lovely meal in front of a roaring fire.

Three good things:
1. Lydia had a delve into the bag of cast off clothes I was taking to the charity shop & took home a wax coat & a tunic dress I had bought & never worn....so glad she could make use of them.
2. A chat to Max & then Alex this morning. I just heard the first traces of a slight Kiwi accent this morning in the new schoolboy.
3. A much better photo uploading system for 365, we can now follow how the uploading is progressing, a great improvement!
I haven't seen 3? I guessed this was yours - lovely set of shots.

@quietpurplehaze I noticed it when I uploaded this photo Hazel....perhaps it's to do with the new upgrade on Apple IPad but I thought more likely an improvement on 365 Project.

@quietpurplehaze Really well it's the first time I have seen that. Usually I upload & while its doing if I see nothing just the icon on my computer in the top left hand corner showing something is uploading. All of a sudden the picture appears ready to write the words. How weird!

Lovely collage and an interesting story. I bet they were thrilled to bits that the Queen dropped in.
How nice that the grandchildren have picked up the Kiwi accent. Here is a link to be able to identify what they say as they get older, ha ha. http://www.guy-sports.com/months/jokes_speak_new_zealand.htm
It helped us while we were in New Zealand.
