Stormy weather

A quick trip across the road to take a photo of the Irish Sea. The tide was out but it looked quite rough in the stormy weather.
Today's film was The Big Short. I wouldn't recommend it personally but I'm sure the actors did a great job, must have done because it's been nominated for a few Oscars but it was very hard to follow.

All about the collapse of the housing market in the USA & the money made & lost by greedy bankers. We got the gist but it was very complicated!

Three good things:
1. The tide was out so we didn't have to sit in the cinema with the waves crashing along side of us.
2. The wind has eased a little tonight.
3. A pair of new summer jeans from White Stuff that fit perfectly.

Great view, and I like the shelter. Pat, you are our 365 film critic!!!

@quietpurplehaze Well I do like to know what a film is like before I lay out good money, I figure we are all of similar taste on 365 so I like to put you all right ha ha!

These shelters just don't have the same appeal as the old ones. Good shot though Pat.

A great view of the Irish Sea ! That shelter intrigues me -- an UFO comes to mind , so sci-fi !!and I agree with Lee @gamelee they do not have the samr appeal for me either !

@gamelee @beryl Cold concrete too not so good to sit on

superb light , love the blue tones pat and the ultra modern seating , although not too sure about the block of concrete in front of the seat

Interesting shot. They don't make shelters like they used to do they. It looks quite alien.

That wide sea with not even a hint of Ireland over on the horizon! You are very good going to all sorts of movies which you may or may not enjoy!

So grateful for your movie reviews Pat. I trust your judgement! The Splash of red Challenge means B@W every day except the 14th when you add a splash of red. I haven't done it before so I'm learning a lot and it take my mind of less pleasant things! Off to Maggie's for a pre radiotherapy workshop today. I burn as soon as the sun peeps out from behind a cloud so RT could be fun!

@thistle oh dear Joyce, hope it's not going to be too uncomfortable! Maggie's will give you tips on how to get through as best you can! On bright side you might have a head start in the tanning race for summer! Interesting about the splash of red, no wonder I couldn't see any red, it's not the right day!

@maggiemae That's the beauty of it Maggiemae, we would have missed some really good ones we might never have gone to see. Only downside might be that I will have already seen all the decent movies on the plane!

Lovely capture and I like the stone spaceship on the prom. Haven't been to the cinema for years but might watch Dads Army that is just out.

What a lovely capture of this peaceful place....even though a storm is approaching. Saw the Big Short also...was complicated. I understood what was going on because I was in the mortgage/real estate business until 2003. Saw it coming. A good film..well done by all, but not for everyone.
