Early summer by happypat

Early summer

I took this photo on my iPhone through our daughter Cathy's bedroom window this morning. I between the two hedges is a road that runs up to the village where we used to live.
Love to see the cows out enjoying the grass & sunshine.

There are two white lines there in the photo that actually look like smoke trails but I didn't notice them when I took the picture. Look very near together so it might be marks on the window!

Three good things:
1. Max doing well with his cross country running, he came fourth out of 28!
1. Lovely warm sunshine.
3. I drove my car for the first time today, just a short distance to Cathy's along the back roads but it's a start!
Lovely scenery

Its really quite flat around there - great for cow munching. Beautiful green fields and those two marks are really just a rocket being launched. Don't worry, its not going to come down on you!

I think maybe William Blake was looking out of that same window - England's green and pleasant land - Exciting being able to drive again

Lovely peaceful scene. Glad you are able to drive the car again. I just hated not being independent when I fractured my ankle.

Marvelous feel of abundance

Now I'm not fussy, but your hedge needs trimming, a row of topiary swans would look good. Lovely view from the window.

@ladymagpie He he Heather the hedges aren't cut until later in the year. Tractor & hedge cutter job & they don't put hedge cutting gear on until late summer whe other jobs are done.
