The Sparkle Sisters by happypat

The Sparkle Sisters

A fantastic trio of singers that went so well at Great Eccleston Show in the Radio Lancashire tent.
We were serving tea & coffees & although you can't see the audience here I can assure you every one was standing there loving their vintage style music & harmonies.

Three good things:
1. A brilliant Skype session from Max & Finn & mum & dad. The best we have managed yet simply because they are staying in Taupo.
2. I took delivery of a sale top I liked from Toast today. In with my parcel was a dress that I hadn't ordered but a size 18 so no good to me! I rang them up to tell them & discovered the dress was even cheaper so they are sending me one in my size greatly reduced & free postage!
3. I have entered some photos in Garstang Show, took me a while online then discovered they had added a £2 donation which you couldn't remove, I didn't mind too much but a bit of a cheek I think!
They look like they're enjoying their performance. Nothing quite like live entertainment in tent/outdoor setting.
And good Skype chats are great. Hope your aching bits are less bothersome today.

@sarah19 well I have ironed & made up a bed so it was a bit difficult with my thumb but it's no worse Sallie thank you. Have had an ice pack on it tonight! I never knew we used our thumbs so much, fastening buttons & hooks for instance, good job I don't live on my own!

@jmj @jocasta I love Toast & have a few of their clothes. It's been going a good few years now Jennifer selling plain but rather querky clothes. Expensive but a great cut & if you can find a sale item you like you can get a bargain.
I bought a light Batic type top Jocasta can't remember it's proper name, it has a swirly print, three quarter sleeves & a bovered button fastening at the front neck. The dress is the Indigo herringbone shift type dress with the unusual back. I have ordered it but a size larger than my normal Ten so it might have to go back. The only size they had left. Diwn from £190 something to £58 so here's hoping! You can wear a white tee shirt or shirt under it. Which one did you but Jocaster?

Great capture and I bet they sounded great. I've got to get my glasses changed as I read your sentence as " loving their vintage style music & hormones" It confused me at first.
