The sentinel by happypat

The sentinel

Loved this statue of the soldier looking out over Pendle.

Erected by the people of Clitheroe in honour of all those lost in WW1.
The pose with the lowered head is very moving I think.

Pendle is the hill you can see in the background known for the Pendle Witches.

Three good things:
1. A hair cut & manicure & Cathy is going to do my feet tonight in preparation for my holiday next week.
2. Coffee with my cinema friend.
3. Thin fries in a bowl.
What a great shot.. very moving.. and great pov. Nice to have a bit if a pamper.. where are you off to ?.
