A cheating photo today as I haven't had the time nor the inclination to get my camera out.
This is Finn my NZ grandson collecting eggs.
Happy hens & although he doesn't look it here a happy boy!
Three good things:
1. My very kind Dutch B&B solved the problem of connecting my new NOW box ready for the Ryder Cup. He made it look easy but it was doing my head in! My hero!
2. Travel news on the car radio.
3. Promotion codes for money off on stuff you regularly use.
SO funny -- as soon as this popped up, I thought, Oh, like the chickens I saw yesterday here in NZ. I suppose there are chickens like this in other parts of the world but I rarely see chickens where I live and travel so the NZ chickens were quite intriguing to me. Your grandson will treasure this photo you captured here --such a moment in his childhood.
@maggiemae Well I'm not sure where they lay but I would think hopefully go back inside & lay in the nest boxes. I think he's hoping he might find one dropped on the grass!
Good to see him out doing chores early in life - he will develop superb work ethics and that will stand him in good stead when he is older.
Great filler photo for those days that you don't want to wander too far!
Love the photo of Finn!!
We're going to visit our little guys soon!!! A spur of the moment decision the other week after a Skype tour of their new place!! And they have plenty room so want us to stay! I take it as a great compliment after 6 weeks together in summer!!
@sarah19 yes indeed Sallie, but I'm not surprised no one in their right mind could not get on with you & Allan! You are seeing the world through your children as we are!
Thank you all for loving this photo of little Finn! I love it too!
